Why Medifast?

Medifast isn't just a weight loss program it improves overall health. It was recommended to me to improve my Iron levels and get more fiber intake for my digestive system.
I like the idea of this program because it is not designed to be a permanent program of eating this same food all the time. Medifast is set up to help you "reset" your eating habits and learn how to put the right foods in your body. I have trouble eating a lot of food because I get too busy and forget. This is a 5 and 1 meal program designed to help you feel full and satisfied with your daily food intake. I will be eating 5 medifast meals- shakes, soups, oatmeal and eggs and then 1 lean meat with 3 servings of green vegetables for dinner. The program also comes with snacks- fat free jello, pudding, ice cream and pretzels for snack.
My friend is doing the program too so she and I will be buddies throughout the program! She is doing the gluten free program to help her figure out her own health issues.
My concerns with doing this program:
1.) Being married to a very picky eater, it is going to be hard making dinner that he and I will both like.
2.) I love to cook but I am afraid that I won't have fun cooking with this dinner because the program is limited on condiments and spices that I can use. I will have to be creative and plan ahead.
3.) I am concerned I will have low energy and I wont be able to keep up my normal running and exercise routine because this is cutting calories.
Things I am looking forward to:
1.) being healthier
2.) learning how to control eating habits
3.) losing some weight!!!
